System entry calculator
A System entry lets you pick more than 6 numbers. It then plays every combination of them as standard games, and you pay for every one of those games. Here's what a System covers, costs and pays.
System 7 on Saturday Lotto
You pick 7 numbers from 1 to 45. That covers every set of 6 among them: 7 standard games.
- Games covered
- 7
- Chance of any prize
- 3.9% per draw
- Chance of division 1
- 1 in 1,163,580
Compared with buying 7 separate games
| System 7 | 7 separate games | |
|---|---|---|
| Chance of division 1 | 1 in 1,163,580 | 1 in 1,163,580 |
| Chance of any prize | 3.9% | 15.5% |
| Average prizes per game | 44¢ | 44¢ |
You get the same chance of division 1, and the same average prizes, as 7 standard games. What changes is how the wins arrive. A System wins less often, but when it does, several games usually win at once, because they share your numbers.
