Would you get the bonus?
A bonus saver pays its big rate only in months you do what it asks. Pick an account and tell us what you'd really do with it each month. We'll check each condition and show what you'd earn, with the bonus and without it.
What bonus accounts ask of you
We read the conditions on 111 bonus savings accounts at 64 banks. Here's how often each one comes up.
- 63% want you to put money in every month, typically at least $100.
- 48% limit your withdrawals.
- 16% want your balance higher at the end of the month than at the start.
- 7% want you to use a linked card.
- 60 of them ask for two or more of these at once, and 88 pay 0.5% or less in a month you miss one.

General information, not advice. This shows what banks publish. It doesn't recommend any product, and the order of a table is not a ranking. Rates change, so check the bank's own page for current details before you decide anything.
